Fifteen
Privacy
Fifteen has no accounts, no passwords and no login. There is no user table. This page describes everything the site collects.
If you buy a placement
We store your email address, the URL you submitted, and the amount you paid. Fifteen sends no email of its own — the only email you get is the receipt Stripe sends, and the link that manages your listing travels inside it. Your address is not used for anything else, is never shared, and there is no mailing list.
Card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. Stripe’s handling of that data is covered by their privacy policy.
If you just visit
We do not set advertising cookies and we do not use any cross-site tracker.
For the live visitor count and the click counters, your IP address and browser user agent are combined with a secret and hashed. Only the hash is stored, and it cannot be reversed to an IP address. It exists to stop the same person being counted twice within thirty seconds, and to stop bots inflating the numbers that buyers rely on.
Aggregate traffic statistics are collected by Plausible, which is cookie-free and does not build profiles of individuals. Those statistics are public — the dashboard is linked from the top of every page, because the whole product depends on the traffic numbers being verifiable by anyone.
Listing icons
Each listing shows an icon: the App Store artwork when the link is an app, and otherwise the site’s own favicon, fetched through DuckDuckGo’s icon service. Those images load from Apple and DuckDuckGo, which means those two see the request. Neither is a tracker and neither sets a cookie here, but we would rather say it than let you find out.
Outbound clicks
Clicking a listing sends you through a redirect that counts the click and appends utm_source=fifteen so the buyer can see the traffic in their own analytics. The destination site has its own privacy policy, which we do not control.
Retention
Listing and payment records are kept as long as the archive exists, which is indefinitely — the archive is a public record of what was paid. Visitor hashes used for the live counter are deleted after 48 hours.
Your data
Write to hello@fifteen.show to get a copy of what we hold about you, or to have your email address removed. Removing the email does not remove the listing from the public archive.
