Fifteen
Rules
Every listing on Fifteen is paid placement, except the rows marked gift— those are on the house, given away so the board wouldn’t open empty. A gift shows “$0 paid” and decays 5% a day like every other row, so it leaves on its own. Nothing here is curated, recommended or editorially selected. What you see is what somebody paid for, and the amount is public.
Today’s Fifteen
One winner per day, midnight to midnight, Eastern time. The auction for a given day closes at 23:59:59 Eastern the night before. Today and the next 7 days are open for bidding.
- The floor is $5.
- The minimum increment is the greater of $1 and 5% of the leading bid.
- Any bid in the last 10 minutes pushes the close out by 10 minutes. There is no limit on extensions.
- Your card is authorized, not charged. If you are outbid, the authorization is released and nothing is charged. Only the winner is captured, at close.
- Card authorizations expire after seven days, which is why bidding is capped at 7 days out.
- If the winner’s capture fails, the next highest bid is promoted and captured instead.
The Line
No auction. You pay, you appear, immediately. Position is set by heat, highest first. Ties break in favour of whoever got there first.
- The minimum entry is $10.
- Heat fades 5% per day, continuously. Not in midnight steps — the number moves the whole time.
- Adding heat sets your new heat to current heat + payment. It does not reset to what you originally paid.
- Below $5 a listing drops out of the visible line. It is not deleted — adding heat brings it back.
The fade, exactly
heat = floor(base × 0.95 ^ days_since_base). A $100 listing is worth $95 after one day, $69.83 after seven, and $21.46 after thirty. Rounding is always down.
Refunds
- Losing an auction costs nothing. The authorization is released and no charge is ever made.
- Heat on The Line is not refundable once the listing is live. You bought a position and it was delivered.
- If we remove your listing for breaking the rules below, you are refunded in full.
What can’t be listed
Every URL is screened against Google Safe Browsing on submission and reviewed by hand within an hour. These categories are removed on sight, with a full refund:
- Gambling and casino
- Adult content
- Malware and phishing
- Hate and extremism
- Financial schemes and get-rich-quick
- Anything promising a cure or a health outcome
- Anything directed at minors

Not a lottery
Everyone who pays gets exactly what they bought: a visible position, set by the public, deterministic rules on this page. There is no draw, no prize, no chance element, and there never will be.
